I bought this because I have google fiber and wanted the super speed :) The cable should show up as a serial device on a com port. They can't support sending a software driver after the warranty period? The Win 10 driver I downloaded installs the Ethernet adaptor driver but also causes an error for unknown USB device. I was told that the 1 yr warranty expired and to purchase a new one. I gave them the UPC # which is the only number on the package. There are no markings on the device and no S/N on the package. I sent photos of the device and they asked for a serial number. I explained that it was ordered before I began working for my employer and that in a company the size of mine, I would not have access to the order number. Having issue with driver and requested to have driver emailed to ensure that I had the correct one, but they kept asking for an order number.
